Manifesto
We are not social media.
We made Recess because friendship started feeling like another inbox, another feed, another thing to keep up with.
This is for the ones who miss their friends but hate group chats. The ones who forget to text back, not because they don’t care, but because life gets busy.
Not everything needs to be posted in real time.
You’re allowed to disappear for a few days. Save the little things as they happen. On Friday, everyone shares so you can catch up, see what you missed, and get on with your weekend.
Life moves too fast for another “let’s catch up soon.”
Just send the invite.
Coworking. A random movie. That gallery you wouldn’t go to alone. Sitting on someone’s couch. Whatever gets you together.
